January Continues the Smoky Mountain Real Estate Winning Streak!!

Now that we are 10 days into February, we can close the book on the tally of January's Gatlinburg area residential sales.  It generally takes a few days for all sales to get reported so to get a reliable value it is necessary to wait until the 10th of the following month.  Looking back at the board of realtors sales for January it was a respectable value of 87 units.  When compared to the truly atrocious month of January of 2009 January 2010 looks pretty good actually.  That makes 7 consecutive months where we have been above the year ago value.  With the month of February 2009 being another very easy comparison the streak looks likely to continue...
