Good Riddance May!!

In another weak monthly performance showing, Gatlinburg area real estate agents combined for only 161 sales during the month of May. This compares very poorly to the value from a year ago when the nearly 500 members of the Great Smoky Mountain Association of Realtors sold 202 residential properties. In fact, this is the third consecutive month of negative comparisons that we have had and as much as I hate to admit it begins to look like a trend, at least for now. As always, keep in mind that several agencies are usually a little late to report their end of the month closings so the final number will undoubtedly be revised upward significantly. Still, it won't be THAT significant...
