And the Winning Streak Continues!!

The February numbers are in and the results are again good. As always, the flash number available immediately after the end of the month doesn't tell the whole story as it understates the actual results. Because some Smoky Mountain real estate agencies don't get all of their sales posted until a week or more into the next month, we always end up with a higher number for Gatlinburg area real estate sales than we see at the first of the month. As of today, the February 2014 residential sales total stands at 138 which is exactly equal to what we totaled last February. The reason I am calling this a win is because we will no doubt revise the number upward during the next week or two. For this reason, we can now point to 11 consecutive months of positive comparisons versus the previous year. Gatlinburg area real estate is on the move!!
