Blue's Corner: New Apartments Coming to the Area
The town of Sevierville has been growing rapidly over the last few years. The housing market in Sevierville has been struggling to keep up! However, now we have over 3,000 apartments being built and added to our area according to our friend, Allen Newton, who is the Director of Sevier County Economic Development Council. While this is exciting for those hoping to live here, there could be several issues with new residents coming to town! For example, the people who work in neighboring areas would be moving here and bringing their families with them. This means that their children would be coming as well. The schools we have are all considered small by state standards. However, they could become ever more cramped with the amount of housing hoping to take place in Sevierville. Sevierville already has four schools just between primary and high school to divide the large amount of kids.
