As real estate agents, we are always interested in prime locations, and of course nobody wants to miss a really good value, but for many buyers, THE most important question is "What is the immediate neighborhood  like?". All too often, we overlook the importance of a great immediate neighborhood when a family is deciding where to live. I have written about what a great place to live Tennessee is . Within the state, there is no greater beauty, and  no lower tax burden , than we have here in Sevier County which makes it my favorite. In Sevier County, the majority of our permanent residents (as opposed to vacation home owners who spend the majority of their time elsewhere) live in the northern parts of the county, specifically Sevierville , Seymour , the Boyds Creek community, and Kodak . Certainly there are people who live full time in areas like Pigeon Forge , Gatlinburg , Wears Valley , and Cosby, but far fewer than in the preceding list. My own family has lived in the Sevier...
