THE two most important characteristics in Smoky Mountain chalets and cabin residential properties are without a doubt a mountain view and the degree of seclusion (privacy) available. Usually, these two features have an extremely hard time coexisting in just one home. While older cabins and chalets often had larger lots (sometimes with super views) more recently built homes generally have tended to be built on much smaller lots and the owner's privacy has been sacrificed to obtain a good mountain view.
