March Madness Isn't Only in Basketball!
One of our nation's favorite sports classics is the annual spring NCAA basketball tournament affectionately known as March Madness. With 65 teams all aiming to be crowned the national champion the action is hot and heavy. This year is no different and with both the men's and women's Tennessee's basketball teams playing well enough to be invited to the "big dance" those of us who's blood runs orange are really excited. Lots of people are studying the tournament brackets and placing bets on the teams they expect to win. Of more importance to this column, and of much more meaning to my wallet (as I've never been really good at picking the tournament winners) is our local Smoky Mountain real estate market. It too seems to have picked up on the March Madness theme. I currently have pending sales in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Sevierville, Kodak, and already have closed a few sales this month.
