First Take on Gatlinburg Area March Residential Sales Looks Good!

Although the books for Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge/Sevierville March 2010 residential real estate sales have only been closed for a few hours a few preliminary comments are in order.  It is already clear that our streak of consecutive months of year over year gains is still intact. March 2010 was in fact the 9th consecutive month without a single exception that unit sales in our Gatlinburg real estate market have been above the same month of a year ago.  While the reported gain is only slight at this juncture, readers must remember that the preliminary sales tallies are always revised upward as more Smoky Mountain real estate brokerage firms get around to posting their sales.  For you graphically oriented people, here is the current chart:

My forecast is that March Gatlinburg area residential real estate unit sales will end up closer to 130 by the time all of the dust settles.  Good to see all those "green" months after seeing only red for SO long!!
