Pigeon Forge Log Home with Garage for Sale at a Fantastic Price!

I am very grateful to say that I list (and fortunately sell) lots of homes every year, averaging over 100 sales annually for the past several years. In fact, according to our local board of realtors MLS data, I finished number one again in 2013 among nearly 400 agents. Rarely, however, I run across a home that we just can't seem to properly portray for potential buyers and "Acorn Ridge" is certainly one of those. Although this great home is extremely attractive, it is really challenging to photograph due to the large nearby trees - Here are some of the photos that I have taken in my attempt to adequately tell the story.

Because a fairly recent Tennessee state law that says that all homes not served by utility sewer can now only be marketed based on the number of bedrooms the septic system was originally designed for, we have to market this cabin as having only 3 bedrooms. No matter that the soil perks well and there has never been a septic issue despite years of use. If you look closely at the photos, you will note another room that looks suspiciously like a bedroom, but I don't dare call it that. Maybe we can call it a sleeping room, as it does have a large and comfortable bed, a closet, and is a private room accessible by only one door and that route does not require you to walk through any bedroom. Regardless, Acorn Ridge does sleep 10 comfortably when you also count the convertible sofa that can be made into a sleeping surface.

Because of the photography challenge and the Tennessee law that requires the house to be listed as only a 3 bedroom property, someone is going to get a real bargain! This spacious mountaintop home in a great Wears Valley location has absolutely incredible views and even offers a garage, something we just don't see very often in Gatlinburg area Smoky Mountain vacation homes. Priced years ago during better market conditions at a lofty $462,440, because of yesterday's price reduction you can now purchase this very well maintained home for only $274,900 which is well below the cost of replacement. If you love the idea of owning a Smoky Mountain vacation home but also love your classic car (and a real bargain), we have your perfect answer here!! Test: Dleifneohcs
