The Positive Streak Continues, Positively!!

For the 15th month in a row, the total residential sales as reported by members of the Great Smoky Mountain Association of Realtors exceeded those of a year ago. That string of annual increases is particularly impressive when you consider that the numbers from last year were the best since 2007! Sometimes we have to wait until more brokers report all of their sales to declare a statistical victory over the numbers from a year ago but not this month. In fact, for the year as a whole we are over 100 units ahead of 2015 and we aren't even half way through yet. If, and that is a major IF, sales continue at this pace we may just exceed the super high levels of 2006 which we haven't experienced since that year. Not ready to predict that just yet but it is within the realm of possibility...

I have had this blog since 2003 but didn't really get serious about regularly writing here until the beginning of 2007.
