December Smoky Mountain Real Estate Sales Finish Well, Despite the Fires!

For many years I have posted to this blog, sometimes more often and other times so rarely that it doesn't really feel like much of a blog. During the 20 plus years I have lived here, I have never witnessed anything like the fires of November & early December. Despite this horrific event, real estate sales continued at a good pace. In fact, if we have the normal late additions, we may exceed December 2015 which would be remarkable indeed. Here are the numbers as they stand today:
Importantly, we are within only 5 units of matching the stratospheric numbers from 2006, the second highest year ever. Again, with normal late reporting we will likely exceed the tally from 2006 which is something to celebrate indeed.
