Attention all bargain hunters! This charming Cosby home features everything that you want (and just as importantly none of what you don't want like HOA fees or pesky neighbors!) and is literally just steps away from the National Park. Located just 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, this cabin is perfect for someone who wants to get away from it all. Surrounded by beautiful ferns and rhododendron, owning this home is like owning a piece of the National Park with room to sleep 6 easily but it is much better suited as an intimate retreat for a smaller group to enjoy. If you want to enjoy the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, you can walk right in (or drive if prefer but it is only tenths of a mile away). The pictures below don't really do this home justice, you will need to see it for yourself.

Last month, I expressed some concern that our 2012 winning streak for Smoky Mountain residential real estate sales was going to be broken. Unlike the first 8 months of the 2012, September's results did NOT exceed those of September 2011. I also reminded readers that one month does not a trend make and that we would need to wait a couple of months to get a clearer indication of where our Gatlinburg area real estate market was headed. That caution turns out to be quite well thought because the latest residential sales results for our Gatlinburg area real estate market seem to be much better, with the early results already being better than most recent year's October results. Here is my preliminary table showing the good news:
We have recently listed 4 otherwise unrelated Smoky Mountain true luxury properties in Sevier County and these estates are absolutely breathtaking. Whether you are looking for an incredible view from a huge mountain side home overlooking Gatlinburg, a spectacular 100+ acre horse farm estate in the Wears Valley area of Sevierville, the landmark Gatlinburg Castle, or just desire your own massive pristine property surrounded by the State and National Forests, we can satisfy your urge to own an undoubtedly unique Smoky Mountain estate. Click on the caption under each of the pictures below to be directed to a full description of these remarkable Gatlinburg area estate properties.
For the fourth month in a row, residential sales, as reported by the Great Smoky Mountain Association of Realtors, failed to equal the record tally set during the torrid summer of 2016. The problem isn't really a lack of demand, but rather a shortage of supply. There just aren't enough properties available for the qualified buyers that are looking to purchase. I learned on Saturday of yet another frustrated would-be Sevierville buyer who can't find anything that isn't already under contract. WE NEED MORE LISTINGS!!! If you are interested in discussing the possibility of selling your Sevier County residence or rental, please contact us. We do have buyers waiting!!
